Jeff Starling joined Lagoon Water Solutions as General Counsel in April 2019. Prior to Lagoon, Mr. Starling served for 7 years as in-house counsel at Devon Energy Corporation, most recently as Assistant General Counsel, where he supported the company’s operations teams and oversaw all aspects of the company’s litigation. Before joining Devon, Mr. Starling was a litigation partner at McGuireWoods LLP in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Starling also has lived and worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative aide to former U.S. Senator John W. Warner, and in Roanoke, Virginia, as a law clerk to former U.S. District Court Judge Samuel G. Wilson. Mr. Starling received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Wake Forest University. He has served in a variety of capacities for various community-based organizations and currently serves on the board of directors for the Science Museum of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Philharmonic Society and the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
